PERSONALITY
Demyx is your typical eighteen year-old-musician. He loves his sitar more than anything in the world, hates doing what his authority figures demand of him… and just happens to work for an evil organization bent on stealing the hearts of mortals. But Demyx really wouldn’t hurt a fly if he wasn’t ordered to—he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when the Heartless attacked him. Stubborn— he’s been telling himself since he became a Nobody that he does, in fact, have a heart, and won’t listen to a word the others say to convince him otherwise. Insults also sink into him like butter into bread—he’s extremely sensitive., He’s skittish and shy, terrified of most of Organization and preferring to kick back with his beloved sitar to going out into the field.
FIGHTINGSTYLE
Demyx loathes fighting. He’d much rather talk things out in a way that won’t get him or other people hurt. Even when push comes to shove, he’s much more likely to send out a team of water clones to do battle with his enemies than actually going out himself. But when he absolutely needs to, he has one basic plan: FLAIL. He swings his sitar wildly, casts the first water spells that come into his head, and generally has no idea what he’s doing. The reason for this is that direct combat sends him into a panic.
HISTORY
Dyme was a performer who played his sitar on the streets of Hollow Bastion for the occasional coin when Heartless swarmed the streets. His heart was taken from him, and he was reborn as the water-controlling Nobody Demyx. He never really got along with anyone in the Organization and was always viewed as the sort of “odd duck” with his constant assertions that they did, in fact, have hearts.[/color]
