She docked her small rowing boat to the side of the wooden peer. Tying it up with a tight knot. She smiled to herself as she walked across the dock the sun was hot in the sky and it shone down on her back tickling her pale skin with its warm rays. Kairi grinned as stared around, everything was just the same it was brilliant. She was glad for that. She sat on the sandy shore of the destiny islands. Running her hands once, twice through its yellow shimmering grains she let it fall in a rainfall style shower before repeating the action. She smiled as she looked out at the ocean, the blue and white colours of water and foam mixed together the sun bouncing of waters. She was glad to be home, she’d missed this place so much it didn’t matter how short of an adventure she had, she still was happy to be home. Where she belonged where they belonged. Sora Kairi and Riku, though they were almost to old to play the old games they used to play they still had fun hanging out. Kairi remembered when they tried to build the raft, with dreams of reaching new worlds it was amazing how there wish had been granted though maybe not the way they had wanted. She had sat here so many times before she’d sent the letter. Guilt began to flood her again as she remembered how she had forgotten Sora, how it had led the letter but she soon reminded herself that it was her letter that brought Riku and Sora home. She was meant to meet them today on the island which is why she’d come here in the first place this was their favourite place in the whole of their small world, lying back on the sand she closed her violet eyes feeling herself drift off. Chuckling at how she’d called Sora ‘a lazy bum’ for sleeping on the beach.

And I know, baby just how you've been sora slowly but surely tied his little boat onto the wharf area. he jumped up onto the wharf itself to view the sea. he covered his eyes from the harsh rays of the sun and to look further into the distance like a captain of a ship. he slowly lowered his hands to his side and let out a big sigh of relief. he was home. he drummed his fingers on the side of his body and slowly turned around to take a look onto the beach. the sand was still golden and it still looked like paradise. he knew it wouldn't change in the back of his mind, but he was surprised about just how similar it was to when he was a little kid. he smiled and started to leave the dock, looking back to see if his boat would stay in place. it just floated there with other boats. he was satisfied and he kept walking away.
he was asked here by kairi. kairi, of all people, and he thought it was definitely essential he come to her calling. he was both intrigued and worried about why she wanted to see him. when anyone asked to see him, after all the keyblade business, he would alway's assume that he need's to fight or defend. it's not like he was sick of it, but he just wanted some good news for once. he tucked his keyblade in the back of his pants and walked towards a familiar figure. he could definitely tell who it was just by her hair. she was the only girl who had hair that could stand out like that, and probably the only one who could make it work. he smiled as he approached her and gave her a little friendly wave.
"hey kairi", he said softly as he shifted a clump of hair in the front of his face. he didn't want to seem desperate for information and he hadn't seen her for so long so he wanted to catch up with her. he sat down in the golden sand, some of it going into his shoes, but he knew what that was like. he watched some kids with wooden swords go by and he chuckled lightly at them. it reminded him of when he and wakka used to battle it out. or even he and riku. this place definitely brought back every single great memory, but he also knew about the bad ones. like the time the darkness englufed the world and that giant heartless came and attacked him. he turned his head to kairi and smiled again. "so, what's up?", he asked casually not really concerned anymore about what her answer was going to be.
