After all the chaos that Sora had been through in the last few years of his life, Sora thought he deserved a holiday. Or at least time to grow up. Time to enjoy his childhood. He knew that he couldn't just feel safe, he always had to be vigilant. Lately, there was nothing. No news from King Mickey, no heartless attacks. Maybe it had all truly finished. Sora went over to the seaside shack to see if anyone was there he could talk to. Tidus or Wakka. When he went inside, he couldn't see anyone or hear anyone. He frowned as he slowly made his way up the inside stairs. It wasn't that much of a clib, so he was soon on the second level. Then all of a sudden, he saw him. But how? Sora shuddered as he slowly made his was to the familiar figure.

Demyx groaned as he slowly regained conciousness. The Realm of Darkness was brighter than he'd expected it to be. It hurt more, too, as if every part of his body had been viciously beaten with a large metal object... which, of course, it had been. He gave a little whimper, the very thought of Sora sending a shudder through his body. Finally, his aqua eyes fluttered open, and he saw... him.
"You!" he yelped, bolting upright so fast it made his head ache even more. The Keyblade master-- no! Why was he here? What had the poor Melodious Nocturne done in his two lives to deserve his murderer's appearance in his own personal hell?

Sora turned around slowly and saw one of them. One of the Organization members! He could never forget any of them in a million years. "You!", he quickly repeated not realizing that that was the exact word that Demyx had just used. His heart skipped a beat just being in his presence with no defences. He jumped back a little and hit the wall. He rubbed his back and the back of his head while still keeping an eye on the nobody. "What are you doing here?", he said emphasising "here" knowing that his hometown could be in trouble. He tried to claim some presence but failed at the attempt. He just wanted to know some answers from this nobody who actually looked quite confused himself.

"I don't know either," squeaked Demyx, scrambling backwards as fast as he could like some sort of weird, leather-clad crab. "The last thing I remember before waking up was getting beaten up..." This last was more of a petulant whine than anything. "I'm dead, aren't I? That's what's supposed to happen after we lose to a Keyblade. We're supposed to just stop existing." Not that he'd ever actually believed they were different to begin with. Panic had his mouth running a mile a minute, trying to prolong the moment before Sora got his Keyblade out again. After all, the attack in Hollow Bastion had been completely unprovoked.

Sora was actually glad that Demyx was in the same confused state that he was in. Apparently, they both had no idea of the reasons behind Demyx's existence, let alone appearance on Destiny Islands. Typical. Just when he thought he was safe, he was thrown back into this thrill-filled adventure. It was not really an adventure but a duty. He just had adventures on the way. "No, you're not. You're alive and so am I. So, how'd you get here?", he asked with his posture starting to become more confident. He could tell by Demyx's body language that he was afraid, so Sora had to take this to his advantage. He just had to make sure that this wouldn't turn on him and that the nobody would try and attack him.

(ooc: Taking advantage of his fear? OMG, Kawe, you're doing a fantastic job of making me hate your character more, lol)
"I don't know," Demyx said again, the fear in his voice becoming more pronounced now. "I meant it when I said I just woke up here. It's just Hollow Bastion, and my sitar melting, and you, and... nothing. Blackness." He shrank back, seeing by the look on the Keybearer's face and his body language that he was about to be attacked again. And before he even knew if he could still summon his weapon!

Sora was actually starting to believe him. It seemed he wasn't the brightest nobody of the bunch, he obviously had nothing to do with the planning in the Organization. Regardless, he was in the Organization. They were all infamous for hurting his friends. Friends such as Beast, Belle, Mulan. He hieghtened his posture a little but made himself more comfortable. "Well, what do you plan on doing?", he said actually putting his hands in his pockets and leaning back on the wall. Don't get him wrong, he was becoming complaisant (I have no idea how to spell it and can't be bothered checking XD), all it was was that he wanted straight answers out of Demyx and it looked like the only way he was going to get that was by attempting to make everything more comfortable.

Demyx thought for a moment. All he'd wanted all along was to be able to get home and have his old life back, the life he lived before the Organization had essentially kidnapped him. "I've gotta get back to Radiant Garden. That's all I wanted to do in the first place." His big turquoise eyes could only have been telling the truth. There was none of the malice the rest of the Organization had made a science, just a longing to get everyone back where they belonged, and peacefully. "I don't know what the rest of them are planning. I don't even know where the rest of them are." He was still quailing, even though Sora had visibly relaxed. After their last meeting, he couldn't be too careful. He'd answer anything the Keyblade master asked, anything at all, as long as there was no sign of the vicious beating that had come last time.

Sora quickly became vigilant again when Demyx mentioned that he wanted to go back to Radiant Garden. His villainous plan was probably to take over that world and Sora was going to let that happen yet. Sora was quite angry now, in another sense. He thought back to when he first had the keyblade. Whenever he didn't want it, that's when he'd have it but at time like these, it just wouldn't come to him. "So, you're not in the Organization anymore?", Sora said starting to take credit of that. He did take note that Donald, Goofy and King Mickey were responsible too but they weren't present to take some credit. He stepped forward a little. The goodness in his heart was starting to convince him that Demyx's sincerity was convincing enough for him to try and help him.

Demyx thought about it for a moment. He'd wanted to be free of Xemnas for years, but at the same time, he couldn't help but think of their feverish, terrifying determination to get Axel, Roxas, and Xion back no matter the cost. Then again, they did all think he was useless. Finally, he nodded. "I never wanted to be part of them in the first place," he admitted. "I just was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the Heartless attacked me. When you got nowhere to go, even somebody like Xemnas looks pretty good. But now I'm gone, and I'm not going back." That was probably debatable, especially if he ever saw his leader again and was frightened into rejoining, but if he'd say anything to keep the Keyblade off of him.

Sora tilted his head as Demyx confessed his true story. Well, he claimed it was true but it was up to Sora if he was going to believe him or not. It was weird because the same thing kind of happened to him. When he was turned into a heartless, it was not the most spectacular way to be. He was actually engulfed by the simplest of heartless. The only problem was that there were too many of them and thus, Roxas was created. "So, then, are you on our side?", he said with a little confusion in his voice. He didn't really know if that were possible. Everyone he had met was either good or bad. If they were bad to him, then they were bad, but everyone else, he just assumed to be on the good side. Maybe that was his mistake with some, like Riku. Though, he returned to the good side, so he must've seen the goodness in his heart.

Demyx nodded emphatically. Why was it so hard to believe that a good person could have a strong enough heart and will to not be totally destroyed by the Heartless? Especially for someone who that had happened to! "We're not all bad," he said. "Xemnas just scares us into doing what he wants." It was true, too, especially of Demyx. He knew from the start that he'd gotten into a bad crowd, but he'd never been brave enough to rebel like Roxas or Axel. Fortunately, his hopelessness in combat had led Xemnas to assign him only the most menial tasks possible, and he usually got away without hurting a fly. It was only once half the Organization got wiped out that Demyx actually got forced into being evil, and he'd hated it every step of the way.

Sora stepped forward a little but tried not to get too close to Demyx. "Well, I can see that when it came to Axel. He seemed very authentic. But what about the rest of them? They all seemed to enjoy their sinister and malovelent actions", he said almost demandind every answer out of Demyx. He was still aware of his surroundings and that someone could walk in any time. "I-I don't think it's safe to talk here. Someone like you would raise a lot of suspicion", he said still wanting to talk to Demyx but not in public. He was just trying to think of a safe enough place for the two to have their conversation. If that's what you could call it.

Demyx shrunk back when Sora approached him. "Some of them did," he admitted, "but not all of us." It was horribly unfair that the entire universe tarred them all with the same brush as they did Xemnas. If Axel had been authentic, why did Sora have such a hard time trusting him? All he wanted was to go home again! He scrambled unsteadily to his feet. "Do you know anywhere better?" he asked. He didn't know the layout of the world, and he was always pretty pitiful at recon. That 'gather information from what you see' stuff was better left to Luxord or Vexen. Somebody smart.

(OOC: I just realized how out of character I'm getting. Sorry)
Sora really didn't know if he could believe him. Yen Sid warned him about the nobodies, ESPECIALLY the organization. Was he really going to risk it all by putting some trust into Demyx. Only time could tell. "If you think I'm going to believe you just like that, you're sadly mistaken", he said as he returned to his firm tone in his voice. "You would do the same thing in my position", he said trying to justify his reasoning behind his intentions. "Actually, there's a secret tunnel that leads to a cave we can talk in. No interruptions", he said knowing full well that he was protecting his homeland from Demyx, not the other way round.
